American radio disc jockey Mary “The Burner” Turner Pattiz, Ph.D., passed away on May 9, 2023. She is well recognized for her ten years of work with the renowned KMET/Los Angeles.
Her passing was reported via a Facebook post, and as people learn of the passing of beloved Patizz, they are saddened and distraught. Her death’s precise reason is still a mystery. The funeral ceremonies will be part of future announcements from the family.
Everyone was saddened and heartbroken, and they began to post memorials and condolences to her on social media and to pray for her afterlife.

Career:
From the middle of the 1970s to the beginning of the 1990s, Turner was the most well-liked female radio broadcaster playing contemporary music.
She was the most popular D.J. on the venerable KMET radio station in Los Angeles, the host of the nationally syndicated interview program Off The Record, which broadcast on more than 300 stations each week, in addition to being the anchor of the Mary Turner Show on Armed Forces Radio.
Dr. Pattiz left radio in 1994 and went to UCLA to earn her certification as a drug and alcohol counselor. She then started working in the field of substance misuse. In 2008, she graduated with a doctorate in psychology from the California Graduate Institute, which is now a part of The Chicago School.
As a counselor and group facilitator, she got involved in the profession and served on the boards of DARE, the Musicians Assistance Programme and many more.
