Victor Medvedchuck has been married three times as it stands now and is blessed with two children who are both girls from his second and third marriages.

In Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk is considered an ally of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, whom Medvedchuck has referred to as a personal friend. Some foreign commentators have also called him Putin’s closest ally in Ukraine.
